Very fresh ripe apricots are required for this recipe. It's a wonderful cool and refreshing drink in summer, or also good as a light breakfast.
It's a rare day when I find apricots as nice as the ones I bought yesterday. They were perfectly ripe and made a tasty smoothie. The apricots were so sweet that I didn't need 4 tsp of sugar, probably used only 1 tsp. - 25 May 2013
I used a frozen banana which eliminated the need for ice. I also did not add any extra sugar. I thought this was good--the kids did not like it, though. I'd make this again for me. - 21 Mar 2012 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
This was yummy! Mine had more of a banana flavor than apricot, but that could have been the size of the apricots. I only used 3 t of sugar to save on the calories and it turned out super. Thanks for the fun treat! - 01 Aug 2010 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
