We make our steak this way because we love our garlic! When they are barbecued we serve them with baked potatoes and salad.
Turned out to be great steaks. We removed the garlic before eating, eating the garlic cloves would have been overpowering. It was an extremely easy recipe, steaks turned out a nice medium rare with the time recommended for cooking in the recipe. - 12 May 2013
You MUST love garlic to enjoy these steaks. I would like to recommend making your slits for the garlic on the sides - all around rather than the top and bottom.
