Chocolate Pizza Biscuit

    Instead of a birthday cake for your child, why not pull out this amazing chocolate pizza biscuit? Sure to be a hit!

    Serves: 16 

    • 1/2 cup (90g) packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup (60g) white sugar
    • 125g butter, softened
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 1 egg
    • 1 1/4 cups (155g) plain flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
    • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
    • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream
    • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
    • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
    • 1/2 cup Smarties

    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar and butter until smooth. Mix in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour and bicarb soda; stir into the batter. Dough will be stiff. Mix in mini chocolate chips. Spread or pat dough onto an ungreased pizza pan.
    3. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown; let cool.
    4. Just before serving, spread biscuit with whipped cream. Sprinkle with nuts, coconut and Smarties. Cut into wedges. Refrigerate any leftovers.

    I used the dough recipe from this to make a special occasion cookie. I pressed chocolate chips and chopped walnuts into the dough before baking it.  -  15 Jun 2007  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)


    This was ok. It was quick and easy to make, but the taste didn't stand out as much as I thought it would. I tasted the dough before baked, and I liked it better then rather than after it was cooked. :-) Recommend if need something easy, and it might be fun for a kid to help you with toppings. ;-) Just a thought!  -  18 Mar 2004  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)


    Loved this recipe, the easiest Birthday cake I have made. I didn't decorate it with the suggested toppings, just put some candles on it.
