Buck's Champagne Fizz

    A Buck's fizz differs from a mimosa in the ratio of champagne to orange juice - mimosas have an equal mix.

    Serves: 2 

    • 3/4 cup (180ml) champagne, chilled
    • 1/4 cup (60ml) orange juice
    • 1 lemon sliced

    1. Combine the champagne and orange. For different quantities prepare in the ratio of three parts of your favourite champagne to one part of your favourite orange juice.
    2. Serve with slices of lemon.

    Altered ingredient amounts. Excellent drink, a must for any special occasion. Many people like poinsettias better than mimosas but it all depends on taste. For a poinsettia, replace the OJ with cranberry juice! Also you should ALWAYS put a half ounce of triple sec into your Mimosas and Poinsettias, you'll see the difference.  -  29 Sep 2008

    This was great!I made them for breakfast Christmas morning! I love this drink and i always find it with other ingredients other than just OJ and champagne. Now i know the exact measurments of just these 2 to make it perfect!  -  29 Sep 2008
