Chilli Hamburgers

    A hamburger recipe for the person who enjoys heat! Serve on buns with all the usual fixings - tomatoes, onions, lettuce and sauce.

    Serves: 6 

    • 500g lean beef mince
    • 4 fresh chillies, seeded and minced
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 1 teaspoon coriander
    • 4 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. In a medium bowl combine beef mince, chillies, garlic, tomato paste and coriander. Form mixture into 6 patties.
    2. Generously sprinkle both sides of patties with desired amount of Cajun seasoning.
    3. Barbecue 4 to 5 minutes each side.

    These burgers were fantastic!! I served them at a BBQ I was having and everyone raved about them. I used jalapeños in the jar and a little more garlic than the recipe called for and they turned out sooo good.
