    A recipe that is extremely easy to throw together for a healthy and delicious meal. You can use real crabmeat if you prefer of course.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 8 

    • 500g uncooked linguine
    • 1 cup (250ml) soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) extra virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1/3 cup distilled white vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    • 300g mixed baby salad greens
    • 250g imitation crabmeat, flaked
    • 1 bunch chopped coriander
    • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place linguine in the pot cook for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente and drain.
    2. In a bowl whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, sugar, vinegar and sesame seeds.
    3. In a large bowl toss the cooked pasta with the soy sauce dressing, greens, imitation crabmeat, coriander and avocado. Chill until serving.

    As suggested by other reviewers I halved the soy sauce. I now wonder if it was too little, I think I'll add a tad more next time.     I really like this recipe! I love the combined sweet and salty taste...however, I agree with the previous reviewer on the point of the recipe calling for too much soy sauce.     This recipe sounded delicious to me, but when I made it...too salty tasting--too much soy sauce! The soy sauce covered the taste of cilantro and avocado completely-- which is what made it sound so good to me.  -  19 Sep 2005  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
