    This is a recipe for topping digestive biscuits with a lovely walnut caramel. Very easy to make, with a texture a bit like brittle.

    Serves: 21 

    • 45 digestive biscuits
    • 125g butter
    • 125g margarine
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup chopped walnuts

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Place biscuits on baking tray.
    3. Combine margarine and butter (yes... 125g of each!) sugar and nuts in a saucepan over medium heat. Let boil for 2 minutes.
    4. Spread over biscuits. Bake 10 minutes. Remove and immediately transfer to foil with spatula.
