This is great for a kid's birthday party because it has multiple layers of jelly, each with a different flavour and colour. You can make it in a big pan or a glass bowl or in individual bowls. Kids love to help!

Ingredients
Serves: 12 

  • 1 (100g) packet EACH of
  • blackberry flavoured jelly
  • lime flavoured jelly
  • orange flavoured jelly
  • strawberry flavoured jelly
  • cherry flavoured jelly
  • lemon flavoured jelly
  • pineapple flavoured jelly
  • boiling water
  • 1 tin (375 ml) evaporated milk

Directions
Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:2hours  ›  Ready in:2hours20min 

  1. In separate bowls, mix the blackberry, lime, orange and strawberry flavoured jellies with boiling water as per the paket's instructions. Let each cool to room temperature.
  2. In separate bowls, prepare the cherry, lemon and pineapple flavored jellies with boiling water 1/2 cup less than the paket's instructions. Let each cool to room temperature. Add 1/2 cup evaporated milk to each when cooled.
  3. Add the room temperature blackberry flavoured jelly to a 30x23cm pan (or similar sized bowl) and refrigerate until chilled. Follow with alternate colours and plain or milk, allowing each layer to cool before adding the next.

Hi there. I did mine in single serve glass bowls and topped with berries, fruit & cream for dessert with the rellies one night. Everyone loved them!!! They looked so pretty!!! - 22 Aug 2009
