This is great for a kid's birthday party because it has multiple layers of jelly, each with a different flavour and colour. You can make it in a big pan or a glass bowl or in individual bowls. Kids love to help!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12

    • 1 (100g) packet EACH of
    • blackberry flavoured jelly
    • lime flavoured jelly
    • orange flavoured jelly
    • strawberry flavoured jelly
    • cherry flavoured jelly
    • lemon flavoured jelly
    • pineapple flavoured jelly
    • boiling water
    • 1 tin (375 ml) evaporated milk

    Directions
    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:2hours  ›  Ready in:2hours20min

    1. In separate bowls, mix the blackberry, lime, orange and strawberry flavoured jellies with boiling water as per the paket's instructions. Let each cool to room temperature.
    2. In separate bowls, prepare the cherry, lemon and pineapple flavored jellies with boiling water 1/2 cup less than the paket's instructions. Let each cool to room temperature. Add 1/2 cup evaporated milk to each when cooled.
    3. Add the room temperature blackberry flavoured jelly to a 30x23cm pan (or similar sized bowl) and refrigerate until chilled. Follow with alternate colours and plain or milk, allowing each layer to cool before adding the next.

Dead easy and looks fantastic. And so cheap! The only hard part was finding enough bowls. This was a big crowd pleaser after a hot barbeque. - 08 Mar 2010
