    These are a simple homemade burger with garlic, black pepper and most importantly basil. Cook them up on your BBQ and serve in a roll alone or with salad.

    Serves: 4 

    • 500g beef mince
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
    • 4 hamburger buns, split

    1. Preheat a barbecue for high heat.
    2. Mix together the beef mince, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper and basil. Divide into four balls and flatten into patties.
    3. Cook the patties for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from barbecue and place onto hamburger buns. Top with desired toppings and condiments.
