Sweet Tamarind Chutney

A delicious raw chutney made by blending tamarind paste, brown sugar, dates and cumin. It has a sweet yet sour flavour and is great served with any Indian dish.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 4 dates, pitted and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
