    Perfect sweet treat with a hot chocolate or coffee these are an easy to make tasty alternative to cake or biscuits.

    Serves: 24 

    • 125g margarine
    • 1/2 cup (125g) white sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 2 tablespoons cold coffee
    • 1/2 cup pearl sugar

    1. In a large bowl cream together the margarine and sugar until smooth.
    2. Stir in the oats, cocoa and vanilla until well blended then stir in the coffee.
    3. Roll the dough into balls slightly smaller than a ping pong ball.
    4. Pour the pearl sugar into a saucer and roll the balls in the sugar.
    5. Refrigerate biscuits for 1 hour before serving.
