Honey Worcestershire Pork Chops

    Hassle free pork chops which work just as well under the grill as they do on the barbecue. Honey and Worcestershire sauce add great flavour.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 4 pork loin chops
    • 2 teaspoons honey
    • 5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • freshly ground black pepper to taste

    Directions
    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Extra time:4hours marinating  ›  Ready in:4hours35min 

    1. In a shallow glass dish or bowl, mix together honey and Worcestershire sauce. Add pork chops and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for no more than 4 hours to marinate.
    2. Preheat barbecue to medium low. Lightly oil cooking hotplate.
    3. Remove pork chops from marinade. Season with pepper to taste and bbq for 35 to 40 minutes, turning often.

    Today's pork chops do not need cooking that long especially on the grill. A butterfly chop should only take 15-20 minutes and then only to reach 155û internal temp and juices are clear. From a pork producer.  -  29 May 2000  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

    I didn't really care for these, I thought the worchestershire sauce taste was too strong. Perhaps I should have added more honey although I had already added more than the recipe called for. My husband however liked them.  -  25 Aug 2003  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
