    This is a creamy garlic dip that has Italian origins where it is served as a main course with various vegetables and breads to dip into it.

    Serves: 2 

    • 125g butter
    • 1 cup garlic, thinly sliced
    • 4 cups (1 litre) milk
    • 2 cups (50ml) cream
    • 60g anchovy filets

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until browned then stir in the milk, cream and anchovies. Heat through and let thicken. The anchovies will 'melt' to add a slightly salty taste.
