I have a deep fryer that doesn't get much use so was looking for something to cook apart from chips when I found this. Now I have a back-up meat always available in the cupboard. Serve on burgers or with a salad.
1 litre vegetable oil for frying
1 (375g) tin Spam, cut into 6mm slices
1 cup (125g) plain flour
2 eggs, whisked
2 cups breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Italian herb mix
