    This is a super easy stir fry dish for your next Asian meal. Strips of flank beef are stir fried then combined with a homemade sauce and spring onions. Serve with rice or noodles.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 1 1/2 tablespoons dry sherry
    • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
    • 2 teaspoons cornflour
    • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
    • 500g flank steak, thinly sliced
    • 6 spring onions, cut into 1cm pieces

    1. In a small bowl mix the sherry, oyster sauce, sugar and cornflour.
    2. Heat the oil in a frypan and cook the flank steak about 3 minutes.
    3. Stir in sherry sauce mixture then add the spring onions and continue cooking 10 minutes or until the flank steak is evenly brown and the spring onions are tender.
