Salsa is the key ingredient in this easy dinner. Choose the salsa based on your preference for spiciness and flavour.

Serves: 4 

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 cup jared salsa
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) water
  • 1 green capsicum, diced
  • 1 bunch spring onions, diced
  • 250g Fettuccini
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) sour cream
  • 60g grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato, diced

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. In a large nonstick frypan cook and stir beef mince until browned. Drain off excess oil.
  2. Stir in salsa and water. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain.
  4. Stir in green capsicum and onions then continue simmering until vegetables are crisp/tender.
  5. Stir in noodles and sour cream.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and cover until the cheese melts. Sprinkle diced tomatoes on the top and serve.
