    • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

    1. Preheat an oven to 180 degrees C. Lightly grease a 20x30cm baking dish.
    2. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the shell pasta and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally until the pasta has cooked through but is still firm to the bite, about 13 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
    3. Heat a large frypan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef mince, onion and green capsicum until browned. Drain off excess grease. Stir in pepperoni, crushed tomatoes, tomato juice, oregano, celery salt, onion powder, garlic salt, basil, chilli flakes and cooked pasta. Pour into the prepared baking dish and cover with aluminium foil.
    4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove casserole from oven and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes.

Made this tonight and EVERYONE went back for seconds. I also used 2 cloves of fresh garlic. I used cyan pepper instead of red pepper flakes and regular salt because I didn't have an celery salt on hand. Served with green beans. Nice easy meal!  -  27 Jul 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Wow this was really good. I made the recipe as written with the tomato sauce and juice and it was fantastic. I was toying with the idea of just using jarred pasta sauce, but knowing how good it tastes as written I will make it this way from now on, DELISH!  -  16 Sep 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Came home last night and did not have a clue what to have for dinner. Had a 1 1/2 of ground beef in fridge and tired of burgers. This was perfect and I started it late. Another HIT! My two men in the house loved it! Maybe next time I will 2x's it because they complained not enough for lunch on the following day.  -  14 Nov 2009  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
