    Without too much effort you can turn baby carrots into something special with a balsamic glaze that also incorporates brown sugar.

    Serves: 4 

    • 3 cups baby carrots
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

    1. Heat oil in a frypan over medium-high heat. Saute carrots in oil for about 10 minutes or until tender.
    2. Stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar then mix to coat and serve.
