Ideal for a brunch this carbonara style dish of bacon, onion, egg, cheese and pasta is easy to make and tasty to eat.


Serves: 4 

  • 8 thick slices bacon, diced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 375g cooked and drained spaghetti
  • 4 eggs
  • 125g processed cheese food, cubed

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. In a large frypan cook the bacon then remove to a paper towel lined plate.
  2. Add the onion to the bacon drippings and cook until clear; about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the spaghetti and the bacon to the onions and toss until well mixed.
  4. Add the eggs and the cheese then stir until the cheese is melted. Serve while warm.

A pleasant dish, but the recipe would benefit by having more sauce as it was a bit dry first time around. - 09 Oct 2012
