Classic Greek Salad

    20 minutes

A true Greek salad does not contain any lettuce. This version doesn't have any oil either, a little red wine vinegar accentuates the vegetables and feta.

Everyone enjoyed this simple yet refreshing salad. I used pitted, black kalamata olives and sprinkled about a teaspoon of dried oregano in before tossing. Will make this often this summer!  -  01 Jun 2004  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

Took this to a potluck yesterday and it was hardly touched. Tasted blah. Even added fresh ground pepper, and this was still unexciting.  -  04 Jul 2004  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

This was good. Slicing the cucumbers paper-thin is the authentic and best-tasting way to go!  -  03 Oct 2002  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
