Combining diced angel food cake, instant chocolate and vanilla puddings with a crunchy chocolate bar layer between creates this amazing yet simple dessert.


Serves: 10 

  • 1 angel food cake or sponge, cubed
  • 1 packet instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 packet instant vanilla pudding
  • 6 cups (1 1/2 litres) cold milk
  • 2 chocolate bars such as Crunchy or Violet Crumble, crushed

  1. Place half of cake cubes in the bottom of a 23x33cm baking dish.
  2. Prepare chocolate and vanilla puddings with cold milk according to packet directions.
  3. Spread prepared chocolate pudding over cake cubes in dish.
  4. Top with half the crushed chocolate bars.
  5. Distribute remaining cake cubes over crushed chocolate bars and top with vanilla pudding and remaining crushed chocolate bars.
  6. Chill until serving.
