    Chicken is baked in a creamy mushroom sauce made form condensed mushroom soup and cream cheese before being served on angel hair pasta.

    Serves: 6 

    • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
    • 65g butter
    • 1 teaspoon Italian mixed herbs
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) white wine
    • 1 (400g) tin condensed mushroom soup
    • 125g cream cheese with chives
    • 500g angel hair pasta (thin spaghetti)

    1. Preheat oven to 165 degrees C.
    2. In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Stir in the Italian mixed herbs. Blend in wine and the mushroom soup.
    3. Mix in cream cheese and stir until smooth. Heat through but do not boil.
    4. Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer in a 20x30cm baking dish. Pour sauce over.
    5. Bake for 60 minutes in the preheated oven.
    6. Twenty minutes before the chicken is done bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Cook pasta until al dente; about 5 minutes. Drain.
    7. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.
