Breakfast Pita

    Perfect brunch on the weekend when you sleep in. The traditional fried breakfast all put into a pita bread.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1 spoonful butter
    • 1/2 onion, sliced
    • 2 sausages
    • 6 mushrooms
    • 2 eggs, whisked
    • 1 pita bread

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Put a frying pan on to heat with some butter, as soon as it has melted add the onion.
    2. Squeeze the sausage meat from their skins into the frying pan and let it cook, it should fall apart creating meatball sized pieces of sausage.
    3. When the sausage is almost cooked add the mushroom, when soft push all the frying pan contents to the side. Pour in eggs and scramble, when they look ready to eat stir in all the other ingredients.
    4. Open the pita bread to create a pocket, fill with the egg mixture and eat with your hands and a cup of coffee.
