Baked Apples with Sultanas and Hazelnuts

Warm, soft, gooey baked apples stuffed with sultanas, hazelnuts, brandy, honey and butter. Serve with cream and maybe a glass of brandy.

- 2 tablespoons sultanas
- 2 tablespoons finely diced hazelnuts
- 1 teaspoon softened butter
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon brandy
- 4 medium apples, washed and dried
- butter for greasing

- Combine sultanas, hazelnuts, butter, honey and brandy.
- Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Butter a baking tray or ovenproof dish.
- Core apples with an apple corer and stuff with the hazelnut filling.
- Place apples in prepared tray/dish and bake in preheated oven about 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
