    Warm, soft, gooey baked apples stuffed with sultanas, hazelnuts, brandy, honey and butter. Serve with cream and maybe a glass of brandy.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 tablespoons sultanas
    • 2 tablespoons finely diced hazelnuts
    • 1 teaspoon softened butter
    • 1 teaspoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon brandy
    • 4 medium apples, washed and dried
    • butter for greasing

    Directions
    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Combine sultanas, hazelnuts, butter, honey and brandy.
    2. Preheat oven to 230 degrees C. Butter a baking tray or ovenproof dish.
    3. Core apples with an apple corer and stuff with the hazelnut filling.
    4. Place apples in prepared tray/dish and bake in preheated oven about 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
