Smoked Salmon Entree

    If you are looking for a fancy yet easy entree this could be the dish for you. Smoked salmon is layered with a horseradish cream in a starter spoon or Asian soup spoon.

    Serves: 6 

    • 3 slices smoked salmon
    • 200ml thickened cream
    • 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 6 capers or parsley for garnish

    1. Cut smoked salmon into 12 small rectangles that will fit on starter spoons. Set aside.
    2. Whisk the cream with an electric mixer and then add the horseradish, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Spread this mixture into the spoons then top with salmon.
    3. Add some of the cream mixture then the salmon again and top with a little bit of horseradish sauce. Decorate with a caper or sprinkle with diced parsley.
