If you have a special dinner party this is an ideal entree, it is very fancy, a bit expensive because of the truffles but quick and easy to make.


Serves: 4 

  • 4 very fresh scallops
  • 1 large truffle sliced, cut into four thick slices
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Ready in:7min 

  1. Make a slice half way through each scallop just big enough to insert one slice of truffle. Insert one truffle slice in each scallop.
  2. Preheat a frying pan on high and add the butter. When the butter starts to brown add the scallops to the frying pan and cook for one minute on each side. Serve.
