Salmon Baked with Marmalade

Salmon is such a great ingredient it needs very little done to it to be packed with flavour. Serve with side dishes of potatoes and green beans.


Serves: 1 

  • 1 fresh salmon fillet
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons orange marmalade
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  2. Place the salmon fillet, skin side down, on a large sheet of aluminium foil (shiny side up). Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and coat generously with orange marmalade. Close the packet.
  3. Place the packet on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Serve.

Alternative Cooking Methods

You can also cook the salmon packet on a barbecue or under the grill.
