Fast, one bowl quiche, great for using leftovers or whatever you have handy. You can make this quiche with or without a base.
1 1/2 cups milk
60g melted butter
1 cup cheese
1/2 cup self raising flour
filling - tuna, salmon or leftovers (see more ideas below)
1 sheet puff pastry if desired (see footnote)
- Grease pie plate and preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Pour ingredients into greased pie plate. Cook in preheated oven for 30 min and enjoy!
This freezes well when uncooked, but don't cook and freeze - it's not as nice.
Try other fillings like:
tinned salmon, tuna and asparagus. blue cheese and walnuts,
ham or leftover stir fry veg.
or add puff pastry to You can also add a piece of puff pastry to the base of the pie plate; add the topping and place in 220C oven for first 10 mins of cooking time and then turn down.
