Pork Chops in a Tomato and Green Bean Sauce

    This is a great and simple dinner with pork chops being fried before being simmered with tinned tomatoes and green beans.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 pork chops
    • 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 medium onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 (400g) tin whole tomatoes
    • 1 (400g) tin green beans
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    1. Rinse the pork chops and pat dry with paper towel.
    2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper then pan fry on both sides until golden. Set aside.
    3. In a large frying pan, saute the onion and garlic with olive oil. Add the tomatoes, green beans and Worcestershire sauce.
    4. Add the pork chops and simmer for about 40 minutes. Serve with rice.
