This is the Asian version of lemonade and can be found everywhere from hawker stalls to fine dining.
2 cups (1/2 litre) cold water
1 pinch salt, to taste
simple syrup, to taste
- Juice the limes. Pour the juice into a pitcher.
- Add water, salt and simple syrup, to taste. Stir to mix well.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the juice over them. Serve.
Simple syrup a mix of water and sugar. To make bring equal amounts of sugar and water to boil then let simmer for one minute. Cool and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
