    Fairy floss is a show favourite but the sugar can also be used to flavour meringues. This is a simple recipe with such a great flavour.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 40 

    • 3 egg whites (100g)
    • 150g caster sugar
    • 50g fairy floss flavoured sugar

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:1hour30min  ›  Ready in:1hour45min 

    1. Preheat the oven at 100 degrees C.
    2. Whisk the egg whites until stiff then sprinkle the sugar over the whites and continue to whisk until you have peaks.
    3. Pour the mixture into a pastry bag and make small meringues on a baking tray covered with baking paper or a silicone sheet.
    4. Bake in the oven for 1 1/2 hours.
    5. Tap gently on the meringue with your finger. If it seems hollow inside then the meringue is done.
