This is a quick and easy salad based on cabbage with oriental flavours like lime, rice wine, spring onions and coriander.
6 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 teaspoons caster sugar
2 tablespoons oil
1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 hot green chilli, seeded and diced
5 spring onions, thinly sliced
2 carrots, grated
50g fresh coriander, diced
1/2 green cabbage, diced
Extra time:1hour chilling ›
- Prepare the sauce by mixing the lime juice, rice vinegar, sugar and oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the green chilli, onions, carrots, coriander and cabbage.
- Stir well. Refrigerate for 1 hour so all the flavours blend together.
Fresh flavors that go beautifully with fried fish.
