    Boiling a tin of condensed milk in water is the basis of caramel slices and caramel tarts. I usually do it in the pressure cooker as its quicker.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • one or more tins sweetened condensed milk

    Directions
    Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:1hour  ›  Ready in:1hour2min 

    1. Add water to a pressure cooker until the tin(s) is (are) covered with water. Close the lid and cook one hour.
    2. Let cool before opening. You can keep the unopened can for quite a long time.
