When you want a change to roast chicken try this easy creme fraiche coated baked chicken. You can serve with rice or vegetables.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 large onions
  • 1 chicken
  • 250ml creme fraiche
  • 1 tablespoon white wine
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper, to taste

  1. Peel the onions and mince or mix them in a mixer.
  2. Add the chicken into a baking dish.
  3. Iin a large bowl add the creme fraiche, onions, white wine, salt and pepper.
  4. Mix well and brush the chicken with the mixture.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and cook the chicken for an hour. Put the lid on the baking dish.
