Hot Raspberry Sauce on Ice Cream

    This is a beautiful and easy dessert that can be made by kids, dads and husbands which is ideal for Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.

    Serves: 2 

    • 200g frozen raspberries
    • 1 pinch sugar, to taste
    • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
    • whipping cream, to serve

    1. Bring the raspberries to the boil in a small saucepan to draw out the juice. Strain through a sieve and add sugar to the juice to taste; you can also prepare the sauce whenever you like and reheat it later.
    2. Put two scoops of vanilla ice cream into a sundae glass and pour the hot sauce over it. Add whipped cream as desired. Serve immediately.
