Barbecued Meatball Kebabs

These are lovely meatballs that are cooked on skewers on the barbecue; they are flavoured with cumin, onion and cayenne pepper.


Serves: 4 

  • 500g beef mince
  • 4 slices dry white bread or 2 old bread rolls, crumbed
  • 1 large onion, diced really finely
  • 4 tablespoons fresh parsley, diced
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2-3 pinches cayenne pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Preheat barbecue.
  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Form the meat into little balls with wet hands.
  3. Skewer the meatballs and barbecue turning.
