Fish Kebabs

This is a great barbecue choice. It is super easy to make then you leave them in the fridge to marinade and socialize with your guests. When hungry pull them out, cook and serve.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 750g firm fish fillets

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Extra time:3hours marinating  ›  Ready in:3hours20min 

  1. Mix all ingredients together, except for the fish.
  2. Cut fish into 3cm cubes and mix with the marinade. Refrigerate for several hours turning from time to time.
  3. Grease the kebab skewers. Preheat barbecue or oven grill.
  4. Remove the pieces of fish from the marinade and drain well. Skewer and cook for 6-8 minutes until they are cooked through and lightly browned remembering to turn and brush with the marinade.
