    1 person made this

    Serves: 1

    • 1 quality scotch fillet
    • 4 tablespoon butter
    • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
    • 5 peeled raw king prawns
    • 2 cups cooking cream
    • 1/4 cup chopped shallots

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min

    1. Get your frypan or hot plate nice and hot and well oiled. Place scotch on the hottest part, cook to specc (how you like it) Remember only flip once. Its hard to describe how to cook ur steak to medium etc but watch the blood loss from the top of the steak. I find this gives you a fairly good outcome.
    2. For the sauce...add butter, pepper, dijon, garlic to a pot.
    3. When melted add prawns and cook until prawns are pink and soft. Add cream and shallots, reduce down until thickens. Add to the top of the steak and garnish with a sprig of dill.

this dish sells like mad at my little restaurant, Krambach Hotel!! Try it at home it'll make u look like a pro:)
