Easy BBQ Chicken Kebabs

    These delicious and basic chicken kebabs are made even quicker because no marination is required - just thread your chicken and veggies on the skewers and go!

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast fillets, diced
    • 1 large green capsicum, cut into 4cm pieces
    • 1 onion, cut into wedges
    • 1 large red capsicum, cut into 4cm pieces
    • 1 cup barbecue sauce
    • skewers

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat barbecue for high heat.
    2. Thread the chicken, green capsicum onion and red capsicum onto skewers alternately.
    3. Lightly oil the barbecue plate. Place kebabs on the barbecue, and brush with the barbecue sauce. Cook, turning and brushing with barbecue sauce frequently, for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked.

    Used different ingredients. This was my first time making kebabs, and it turned out excellent! I used green, yellow & orange capsicums, mushrooms & pineapple. I didn't use the onions. Then I brushed a teriyaki glaze on them while on the barbecue. Very easy to prepare! This is a perfect dinner for a BBQ during the summer.  -  29 Sep 2008


    First time making kebabs. Was very easy to prepare and the flavour was perfect. I would recommend cutting the chicken larger than the veggies to insure proper cooking.  -  29 Sep 2008
