I was very lazy - marinaded the pork and placed it in a casserole in the oven (weather being too inclement in Oxford for a barbecue). I had been dubious about the idea of seriving in a baguette but this turned out to be the perfect solution to English barbecue=wet weather dilemma. Delicious. Thank you!

Through force of circumstances, I let the pork marinade for around 36 hours. Wow! The result was incredible. My barbecue guests couldn't believe how intense the flavours were for such a limited number of ingredients. We served with a simple cucumber salad. We will definitely make this again and again all through the summer.

Made this on the weekend. Don't know if it was just the good weather, but this is a fantastic recipe! I did add more chili than the recipe states, though, and thought that was worth it. I also prefer fresh chili to dried flakes.

After all the positive reviews thought I would give it a try. It was really easy and tasty (tho only marinaded it for an hour). The puree shallots make for sore eyes; be warned!
