Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Biscuits

    These chocolate chip biscuits are gluten free as well as being vegan, thus egg and dairy free, perfect for all your friends.

    Serves: 12 

    • 325g almond flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    • 125ml vegetable oil
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
    • 125ml agave nectar
    • 150g dark chocolate chips

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degress C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
    2. Combine flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda in a large bowl.
    3. Stir together vegetable oil, vanilla and agave nectar in a smaller bowl.
    4. Mix wet ingredients into dry. Stir in dark chocolate.
    5. Form 1cm balls and press onto a baking paper lined baking tray.
    6. Bake for 7-10 minutes. Cool and serve.

    I tried this out last night at midnight! So easy. A little too much salt for my taste but my husband gives this recipe "Two Thumbs Up" and he's quite critical of Gluten free and Dairy Free recipes. A little bit of sweets is good for the soul. PS maple syrup in same amount as Agave works just as well.  -  27 Apr 2014
