Three Bean Salad

A hearty mixture of kidney beans, chickpeas, cannellini beans and water chestnuts combined with French dressing and tomato salsa. Great for picnics and barbies.
1 (400g) tin kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (400g) tin chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 (400g) tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 (220g) tin water chestnuts, drained and diced
190g prepared tomato salsa
2 to 4 tablespoons French dressing
salt and pepper, to taste
- In a large bowl, toss together the all ingredients. Cover and chill until serving.
Make your own vinaigrette for this salad if you don't want to use prepared French dressing!
