Tiramisu Glasses
This recipe is perfect for a special dinner or party. Made and served in individual glasses they can be prepared well in advance and kept until needed.
Ingredients
Serves: 8
- 2 egg whites
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 cups (220g) icing sugar
- 400g Mascarpone
- 200g sponge fingers
- 200ml strong coffee, room temperature
- 200g dark chocolate

- In a bowl beat the egg whites to stiff peaks.
- In another bowl whisk the yolks and icing sugar together until smooth.
- Add the Mascarpone to the egg yolks then fold in the egg whites.
- Lay out 8 individual serving glasses or ramekins.
- Soak the biscuits in the coffee and lay in the bottom of each glass. Top with a layer of the Mascarpone mixture. Grate some dark chocolate over the top.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used ending with a Mascarpone layer topped with a bit of grated chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Great recipe - made it a few times now, quick, easy and very tasty. Tastes great the day after when the coffee has soaked through better. - 18 Jul 2011
used sponge cut up, do not soak just do a quick dip into coffee/brandy mix. Added brandy to the coffee instead of the mixture. Yum some of the brandy dripped to the bottom of the margarita glass which added a real punch - 13 Aug 2015
