This is a fool-proof marinade - just garlic and soy sauce with olive oil.
This was an OK marinade. Nothing special, but will do in a pinch. I used it for New York Strips and I chose to follow the advice of prior reviewers and use equal parts liquids, subbing lime juice for water. - 05 May 2013

Used different ingredients. I made this twice. First with water and then with lime juice. It was better with the lime juice. I also took the advice of using equal parts of olive oil and soy sauce. Thanks! - 29 Sep 2008
