    This is a very easy yet tasty slow cooker chilli recipe that doesn't use kidney beans, instead using baked beans.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 800g lean beef mince
    • 1 1/2 onions
    • 2 sticks celery, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 (600g) jar tomato puree or passata
    • 3/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
    • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1 (400g) tin baked beans

    Directions
    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:8hours  ›  Ready in:8hours15min 

    1. Place the mince in a wok or frying pan over a medium heat and cook until evenly brown. Drain the fat.
    2. Place the mince in the slow cooker and mix in the remaining ingredients.
    3. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours.
