Salmon Poached in Dill

    It doesn't get simpler than this! Poach your salmon fillets in hot chicken stock with dill for flavour and you'll come back for more.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 fillets salmon
    • 2 cups (500ml) chicken stock
    • 1 bunch fresh dill tied with kitchen string

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Place the salmon fillets in a large pot, and pour in the chicken stock. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to low and place dill in the pot. Cover, and cook 15 minutes or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.

    Used different ingredients. simple, easy and delicious. I squirted a little lemon juice in the chicken stock, and added a bit of pepper to the filets. turned out great!  -  29 Sep 2008


    I followed the recipe without modification. The texture of the salmon was nice and moist. But the taste was, well, nonexistent. It was soo bland! Salt and a lot of pepper had to be added at the table.  -  29 Sep 2008
