A rocky road treat that the kids can help you make. Easy to make - no cooking, just a bit of microwaving. Fun to make and great to eat. You can vary the ingredients too e.g. add cherries if you like.
This is such an easy recipe to make. My grandchildren helped and ate half the ingredients! The cakes are delicious and if you make small ones are ideal for children. My grandchildren loved them. - 16 Feb 2010 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
I made this recipe with my class of 7-8 year olds this morning, it was fabulous. I had 25 very happy children at the end of the day. We are studying Instructional Texts (recipes being one of them). My second group decided to start with number 4, because the first group found that their chocolate had cooled down by the time they crushed the biscuit and measured out the other ingredients. I guess they needed to prepare and measure out all of their ingredients first, then start! (We also used chocolate that we broke up, only because bars are cheaper than buttons). Thank you for the recipe, we will definitely be making these again. - 15 Jan 2014 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
