Its all about the icing! I made these scary/cute mummy cup cakes for Halloween. I used this easy chocolate cupcakes recipe - without the raspberry - but you can use cake mix if you need to save time on the cakes.You can do anything crazy with the icing - this is just a basic guide.

I made these yesterday however I used pre-bought vanilla buttercream icing. Mine don't look as professional as the picture (I am an amateur ice-er) so I think I will invest in a proper piping bag for the future. I made them as mini cupcakes and it still worked great. I used butter cream icing, so it ended up looking more 'aged' - 30 Oct 2017 (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
