An easy and kind of decadent way to eat mangoes during mango season. A nice easy summer dessert. Use cake crumbs instead of the biscuits.


Serves: 8 

  • 500ml creme fraiche
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 8 tablespoons plain sweet biscuit crumbs
  • 2 ripe mangoes, chopped

Preparation:20min  ›  Extra time:1hour chilling  ›  Ready in:1hour20min 

  1. Combine the creme fraiche, nutmeg, lemon zest and golden syrup in a bowl and whip to combine.
  2. Lay out 8 glasses. Start with a layer of the creme fraiche mixture, then 1/2 a tablespoon of biscuit crumbs, then a layer of chopped mango. Repeat layers once more. Chill until serving.
